Our History

Allegheny County Council of Republican Women was founded in September 2019 to engage and empower women in the political process. Our committee is made up of volunteers who are committed to making a difference in not only Allegheny County but also for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our country as we are a recognized chapter of The Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

We are committed to increasing the number of women registered in the Republican Party and unite their efforts along party lines. It is also our goal to increase the representation of women across county and state committees, and to increase the number of Republican women elected to public office here in Allegheny County, as well as across Pennsylvania and nationally.
